Visitors

Shaare Hayim Congregation is blessed with two synagogues: a grand listed building dating from 1927 in Didsbury; and a beautiful modern building opened 90 years later in Hale Barns.  We frequently welcome groups of youngsters and adults during the week and our Rabbis will be only too pleased to show them around and explain the purpose of the various parts of each building.  Please phone the office or email to make arrangements.

• Lodging: The Bulls Head, Wicker Ln, Hale Barns, Altrincham WA15 0HG is immediately opposite the shul.  
• Eruv: a planning application has been submitted for an eruv around Shaare Sedek synagogue as well as the nearby Hale and District Ashkenazi Congregation.  Please contact the office for up-to-date information.  
• Mikvah: Please contact the Rabbi via the office for information
